Born and raised in Finland, Mia has traveled the world extensively since she was 15. "I’ve seen so many cultures and have come to realize that, as different as we all are, we want the same things out of life. That knowledge has really shaped my outlook," Mia explains. Mia honed both her business and people skills while working for a Danish travel firm in several countries, including Israel, where she met her husband, Joel. Married for more than 15 years, the two share their love of hiking, skiing (Mia’s been skiing since she was 6) and the outdoors with Danielle.
